Dyeing And Hostel Nakashimaya - Female Only - Kumamoto

We stayed at this lovely hostel in Kumamoto for a few nights. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with detailed information about a nearby festival and even teaching us how to get there. The hostel itself had a fantastic design, blending both western and Japanese elements seamlessly. The bathrooms were well-maintained and there was always drinkable tap water in the kitchen. The location was convenient, with a tram station just around the corner. it was a wonderful stay with a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable amenities.

The location of Dyeing And Hostel Nakashimaya was perfect for us - just a short walk to both the train station and the beautiful castle park. We also had an amazing dyeing experience, and the tenugui cloth we made is a great souvenir. The staff were friendly and the common areas were filled with charm, including fresh flowers in the bath and toilet rooms. The futons were comfortable and the hot showers were a delight. I highly recommend this hostel for a nice stay.

The hostel is conveniently located very close to the city center, making it easy to explore all that the town has to offer. It is also situated on the castle, providing a beautiful view from the rooftop. it is near the train station, making it convenient for travelers arriving by train.

The reception area may sometimes be unattended, but the staff is easily reachable by phone and always responds quickly.
